Course Details

This course is aimed at Site Managers who need to be able to produce a Lifting Plan for safe crane operations of their site. It can be a one or two day course depending on the type of crane being used on their site.

Learning Outcomes

  • Attendees will learn how to extract information from suppliers and manufacturers details on loads to enable them to plan a lift safely.
  • Attendees will learn what to look for ie ground conditions, overhead risks etc
  • Complete a Lifting Plan to comply with LOLER 1998

Booking pre-requisites

Experienced in crane operations.

Duration and Assessment

One and two day courses available depending on experience and type of crane required.
