Having an external Health & Safety Consultant fulfils your legal obligations but at a fraction of the cost of employing a full time member of staff in this capacity. One of the aims of the safety group will be to inform members via newsletters of updates on new regulations, codes of practice, HSE Guidance Notes and the opportunity for a different member to be featured in each edition free of charge which will give some publicity amongst other group members.
